"Viewing any form of art should evoke emotions and sometimes insight."
- Harvey Branman

A professional photographer for 15 years, Harvey Branman parlayed his love and talent for photographic art into a commercial career in photography. Having captured numerous fine art awards for his landscapes and nature studies, Harvey experimented with the idea of shooting photographs of people, pets and products with an eye of an artist. The result was "Photography As An Art," his method that portrays the subject with feeling and style which is uniquely its own.

Nanette Martin, Disaster Photographer
Nanette Martin has been capturing award-winning images for more than 20 years. She is well established in the magazine and newspaper industries, with work published in LIFE, People, Sports Illustrated, Reader's Digest, the Advocate and the San Diego Reader. Nanette is known for the powerful images she captures in the aftermaths of disasters, such as the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center, the deadly 2003 Cedar Fire in San Diego County and New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

As an animal lover, Nanette focuses much of her attention on documenting the plight of animals affected by disaster. Nanette used her work to raise over $10,000 to feed the search and rescue dogs at Ground Zero, and after witnessing the tireless and heroic efforts of the animal rescuers in New Orleans after Katrina, now donates a portion of her sales and fees to the MuttShack Animal Rescue Foundation.

Nanette's work has been exhibited in the San Diego Natural History Museum; the Barona Cultural Center and Museum, Lakeside, CA; Texas A&M University; the Museum of Outdoor Arts, Englewood, CO; Regis University, Denver, CO; and the Art Institute of Colorado, Denver, CO.

Art in motion since childhood has been at the center of Robin Cohen's career with her love for dance and nature. She now fashions those two passions into stone to express the beauty she sees that she has always wanted to share with others.
Having been a professional dancer, painter and sketch artist, Robin now dedicates her skills toward carving those subtle dances of nature into forms frozen in time from her own life experiences.

As a mother of two beautiful daughters, who, like nature reflect its grace; she remembers the beautiful places in her own childhood living in San Fernando Valley during her high school and college years honing her skills.

Tutored by the Master sculptor Michele Chapin of Ventura, Robin's talent for carving showed immediately by her selling her very first piece of work when it was barely finished.

DAVID EDWARD PEASE

Local artist David Edward Pease was born in San Francisco, California in 1961. While still a student at Otis Parsons Art School in Los Angeles he put himself through school by re-producing Dali & Ming Dynasty paintings for Charles Hollis Jones Gallery of Beverly Hills. After Otis Parsons he returned to San Francisco where he began a career in trompe l'oeil painting, murals, faux finish and reproduction of high quality Masterpiece paintings. Many projects followed that allowed him to devote much of his career to develop his surreal "realism" art which is composed of figurative and landscape paintings with a solid sense of intense color layered upon each other as if creating a stained glass world. David's style is strong, rich, multi-layered and truthful. Like the works of artists he admires, for example, Gauguin, Van Gogh and Rothko - David paints with verve and gusto. Inspiration for his themes in art comes from nature, dreams and social experiences.

Since moving back to Los Angeles he has concentrated on a series of contemporary cityscape and figurative paintings and his own rock and roll myth paintings which are all very much about his new inspiration from jazz. Painting "jazzy" reminds him to take chances when painting, to incorporate those chances and work with mistakes. Allowing one to free up your expression - as a chance to move. He has moved beyond his earlier classic, traditional style to a more courageous approach which is much about the process of moving paint around. David has exhibited in galleries in both Northern & Southern California and worked with noted interior designers.
